Numbers matter as Academy Park sweeps Chi

Academy Park swept Chichester in boys and girls Del Val League cross country action Tuesday, by identical 15-50 scores, although the Eagles had their highlights.

David Sherry crossed the line in first place, two seconds ahead of John Ross Flowers of the Knights. Anthony Billops, with a time of 25:25, finished third for Chi, but Academy Park claimed six of the top eight runners. On the girls’ side, Laila Ivory of the Knights led the way with a time of 24:48.
