Tran and Gassama carry Academy Park to sweep of Chester

Kevin Tran and Abdulai Gassama both won a pair of singles matches as Academy Park topped Chester twice, 5-0, to close out Del Val League play.

Tran won twice at first singles, while Gassama won at third singles and came back and won at second singles in the nightcap.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Haverford School 7, Malvern Prep 0 >> Connor Lees did not lose a game at second singles. Benji Bacharach and Mike Pilkington did the same at first doubles for the Fords.

In nonleague action:

Chichester 4, Sun Valley 3 >> Joey Hagel and Cliff Paasewe needed three sets to win at first and second singles, respectively, for the Eagles.

Sean Setnick and Preet Patel, and David German and Keith Crego won at third and fourth doubles for the Vanguards.
