Undefeated falls while Spring-Ford and Perkiomen Valley flex its muscles in PAC baseball recap
Spring-Ford 11, Upper Perkiomen 0 >> Nick Brauer and Thomas Hughes combined on a two-hitter while the Rams used a seven-run sixth inning to bring an early end to their PAC game with the Indians.
Brauer scattered two hits and a walk through the first five — he had four strikeouts to his credit — before Hughes put together a no-hit sixth. The Rams’ big at-bat was headed by a Conor Larkin double and Sam Barletta triple, the duo combining to drive in five runs on the day.
Spring-Ford had 15 hits in the game, with Ryne Moore, J.C. Reed, Barletta, Ethan Hellberg and Larkin each hitting safely twice. Dalton Butz and Zachary Rozanski each collected one hit to lead Upper Perkiomen.

Perkiomen Valley 19, Pottstown 4 >> Joe Gorla and Pete Whitton each drove in three runs to help the Vikings bring their PAC game with the Trojans to a conclusion after six innings.
Gorla’s 2-for-4 day featured a triple and double, which were among PV’s six extra-base hits. Anthony D’Abbene led the way with a 5-for-5 effort. Dylan Boyd went 3-for-5 and Tyler Stretchay added a 3-for-4 showing in support of winning pitcher DJ Jampo’s four-inning mound stint.
Jimmy O’Donnell went 2-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs for Pottstown, which was done in by PV scoring 10 times in the top of the sixth.
Phoenixville 4, Owen J. Roberts 2 >> The Phantoms made their early lead hold up on the way to a PAC victory over the Wildcats.
Though getting just four hits, Phoenixville was augmented by Roberts’ five defensive errors. Kevin Cushing, who threw the first six innings with eight strikeouts, got the pitching decision for the Phantoms.
Josh Fulmer (2-for-3, two RBI) was OJR’s hitting leader.
