Baldwin School lacrosse team improves to 3-0
The Baldwin School lacrosse team improved to 3-0 with a 6-5 win against Hill School Wednesday. The Polar Bears were led by Ry Neuman (two goals), Lila Tuckman (four caused turnovers, four ground balls), Marissa McGarrey (three goals, six draw controls, three ground balls), Celia Page (one caused turnover, three ground balls) and Olivia Tornetta (one caused turnover, 18 saves).
Baldwin’s second win of the season was a 15-0 win against Cheltenham. Myla Barnett scored six goals, Marissa McGarrey had four goals and eight draw controls, Carrie Schaeffer caused four turnovers and Celia Page scooped up seven ground balls.
In its season opener, Baldwin defeated Central High, 17-0. Ryanna Neuman, Lila Tuckman and Marissa McGarrey (nine draw controls, seven ground balls) each scored four goals.
