Mastropietro the hero for Springfield in thriller
Belle Mastropietro drilled the game-winning 3-pointer with six seconds to play in the fourth quarter, lifting Springfield (19-3, 14-2) to a
thrilling 38-36 decision over Radnor (16-6, 11-5).
Mastropietro finished with 17 points, four assists and two steals, while fellow sophomore Jordan D’Ambrosio had 10 points.
Ellie Mueller led Radnor with nine points and 10 rebounds and Nicole Massimino chipped in with eight points and four assists.

Penncrest 41, Marple Newtown 38 >> Kat Mullaney made five free throws in overtime to help the Lions (10-12) pick up the win. Grace Harding, who had her team’s only field goal in OT, finished with 16 points while Mulaney and Megan Arndt scored nine apiece.
Ridley 51, Upper Darby 35 >> The Green Raiders (9-13) ended the season on a high note as Emma Layden scored 13 points and Izzy Hamlin tossed in 12.
Emma Blewett dropped in 15 points and made five steals, while Gabby Liberio added 11 points for the Royals (0-22).
Lower Merion 50, Haverford 43 >> Erin Doherty paced the Fords (7-15, 5-11) in their season finale with a team-high 16 points. Brianna Blair added 10.
Harriton 51, Strath Haven 31 >> Madison Snyder had nine points and Olivia Fender chipped in with eight for the Panthers (3-19) in their season ender.
