Sam Sessoms becomes Shipley’s all-time leading boys basketball scorer

Shipley junior guard Sam Sessoms became the school’s all-time leading boys basketball scorer Jan. 28 in a 73-33 win against Cristo Rey. Sessoms finished with 17 points in the contest, played at Simon Gratz High School for the And 1 Classic, giving him a total of 1,274 career points. The win was the 13th consecutive victory for the Gators (17-5).
