6. Perkiomen Valley 27, Haverford School 24
Drama. Moments after Perkiomen Valley lost starting receiver Justin Jaworski to injury, the Fords added salt to the wound with a 99-yard interception return and two-point conversion to tie the game at 17 in the third quarter. From there, the wildness went full throttel. Matt Ford-Bey returned the ensuing kickoff 92-yards to give the Vikings the lead before Haverford School orchestrated a clock-churning drive to tie it at 24 with three minutes remaining. They just left too much time. The Vikings drove down the field methodically, Sean Owens (four receptions, 68 yards) hauling in a 20-yard pass on a third and 16 before Remy Sell’s 18-yard reception brought the ball to the Haverford 37 with 1:14 left. Brendan Schimpf (64 yards, 10 carries) then provided his best run of the game two plays later, finding the edge for a 20-yard gain that put the ball in plenty of range for kicker Garrett Patla, who booted a 33-yarder with seven seconds left.
