Presenting 2016 Daily Local News All-Area Girls Cross-Country Teams

FIRST TEAM
Aislinn Devlin, Downingtown West – The Downingtown West senior was the Daily Local News Girls’ Cross-Country Runner of the year. Click here to see story on Aislinn Devlin.
Anna Juul, Unionville – Senior placed third in the PIAA Class 3A championships, posting a time of 18:11. Finished second at both the Ches-Mont Championships and the District 1 meet (17:40), just behind Daily Local News Runner of the Year Aislinn Devlin. Was a first team All-Ches-Mont League runner.
Dominique Schultz, Conestoga – Junior finished 18th at the PIAA 3A championships, with a time of 19:00, and placed 11th at districts, with a time of 18:34.
Madison McGovern, Unionville – Promising sophomore, a first team All-Ches-Mont runner, McGovern finished 23rd at states, with a time of 19:13. Placed ninth at districts (18:26) and sixth at the Ches-Mont Championships.
Emma Planck, Downingtown West – Senior was a first team All-Ches-Mont League runner, finished fifth at districts (18:09) and placed 28th at the PIAA Class AAA state championships, clocking in at 19:24.
