Fleming leads balanced Ridley attack
Damir Fleming scored 13 points as Ridley spread the scoring in a 47-15 win over Interboro at the Ridley Holiday Tournament.
Jimmy Bramwell added seven points and six rebounds. Mike McMenamin and Jamai Bean dished four assists apiece as the Green Raiders (4-2) advance to Wednesday’s title game against South Philadelphia, which defeated Cardinal O’Hara. Details were not reported.
Interboro’s Albert Pewa did all he could for the Bucs (0-7), scoring every last one of their 15 points. They get O’Hara Wednesday.
At the Benedictine City Classic:
Archbishop Carroll 64, St. Maria Goretti 59 >> A.J. Hoggard scored 14 points, Khari Williams added 12 and Jesse McPherson chipped in 10 as seven Patriots scored at least six points each.
The win moves Carroll (6-1) into the semifinals Wednesday at the three-day tournament in Richmond, Va.
At the Harriton Tournament:
Strath Haven 46, W.C. East 42 >> John Harrar broached a double-double with 17 points and eight rebounds, and Chris Rosini hit four 3-pointers in the second half to tally 14 points as the Panthers (6-1) enter Wednesday’s title game against Downingtown West.
At the Unionville Shootout:
Chichester 65, Kennett 59 >> DaQuan Granberry scored 31 points to go with nine rebounds, Epifanio Williams added 10 points and James Hendricks neared a double-double with eight points and eight boards for the Eagles (2-5), who take on the hosts Wednesday.
At the William Allen Tournament:
Emmaus 74, Springfield 58 >> Ja’Den McKenzie and Kyle Sullivan scored 14 points each (Sullivan via four triples), but the Cougars (4-2) fall into the consolation game against Wilkes-Barre GAR Wednesday.
Great Orjih posted a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Mike Webb added 10 points for Springfield.
At the Dick Dougherty Tournament:
Ben Franklin 65, Delco Christian 57 >> Jordan Parks scored a game-high 23 points, and T.J. Tann added 11, put the Knights (3-4) couldn’t capitalize on Franklin’s 7-for-27 day at the line.
Tyler Penley added 10 points as Delco Christian takes on Bristol in Wednesday’s consolation game.
At the South Hunterdon Tournament:
New Hope-Solebury 61, Christian Academy 42 >> Davier Daniels led the way with 12 points, and Jalen Sherrill added nine for the Crusaders (3-3), who land in Wednesday’s consolation game.
In nonleague action:
Radnor 70, World Communication Charter 45 >> Mason Ressler hit three 3-pointers to finish with 22 points, Sami Ghazzi added 13 and Zahir Lee and Jack Thompson each accounted for 10 points as the Raiders (2-5) snapped a five-game skid.
