Slade heads 1-2-3-4 finish as Falcons down Pope John Paul II

Pottsgrove 16, Pope John Paul II 43 >> Amia Slade headed a 1-2-3-4 finish by the Falcons in their PAC meet with the Golden Panthers.

Slade crossed the finish line in 22:38 for Pottsgrove (4-1), followed by teammates Chloe Sullivan (22:43), Megan Czerpak 922:48) and Amie Wildermuth (23:48). Caroline Frattone was PJP’s highest finisher, fifth in 24:09.

Upper Perkiomen 24, Pottstown 31 >> Serena Detweiler claimed individual race honors for the Indians in their PAC victory over the Trojans.

Detweiler finished first in 22:34, ahead of Pottstown’s Adriana Hayward (23:03) and Yuliza Cruz (23:30). Upper Perk (1-4) finished its regular season on a winning note with Lauren Weeks, Alexa Banner and Sara Adamkovic going 4-5-6 in the finishing order.
