Juliana Alessandroni, Gabby Kane, Alayna Gairo and Devin Rawley each scored for Spring-Ford (0-0 PAC, 1-0 overall) with Alessandroni, Lily Nowakowski and Laura Fazzini each recording assists.
Amanda Byrd and Alex Hyduke combined for four saves.
Pope John Paul II 8, Pottstown 0 >> Kayla Mesaros figured in on six goals – four goals, two assists – as the Golden Panthers opened the PAC season in style.
Julia Owens, Carson Tracy (assist), Julie Cherneskie, Mia Sheldon (two assists) rounded out the scoring for PJP.
Elizabeth Kropp had two assists. Emme Wolfel had 12 saves for Pottstown.
Upper Perkiomen 3, Palisades 2 >> Hat trick hero Mackenzie Gebhardt helped the Tribe rally to a win in their opener. Gebhardt was assisted by Jessie Fisher and Kaitlyn Mundy for her first two goals before Katie King leveled the game at 2-2 in the 48th minute.
Fisher fed Gebhardt again for the game-winner in the 58th minute. Hannah Landis made five saves in goal for UP.
Phoenixville 2, Great Valley 1 >> Gabrielle Perrotto scored both Phantom goals, her goal midway through the second half the decider in a non-league win.
Cassidy Hoops evened the game 1-1 early in the second half for GV.
Hannah Sands had four saves for Phoenixville; Laura Campbell stopped 7 shots for Great Valley.
