Strath Haven 19, Rustin 9 >> Jeffrey Conner scored seven goals to go with an assist, and Will Huestis added six and one as the fifth-seeded Panthers (15-4) shook off a two-game losing streak to make mincemeat of the Golden Knights. They advance to Thursday’s second round to meet Marple.
Garnet Valley 17, Pennridge 3 >> Ryan Lopez scored his first three career varsity goals, and Matt Moore, Denny Nealon and Ty Moschella scored twice each in a short night for the starters of the No. 6 seed, who await No. 11 North Penn in the second round.
