Episcopal’s Jakes dominate in Inter-Ac Invitational opener

Jake Martellucci’s seven points paced a consistent attack and goalie Jake Floyd Jones made 10 saves, as Episcopal Academy throttled the Hill School, 12-4, Monday in the first round of the Inter-Ac Invitational.

Martellucci netted five goals and set up a pair for the Churchmen, who blanked the Blues 8-0 over the final three periods. Dan Baker added a hat trick, Connor Ringwalt had a goal and four assists, and Christian Feliziani won 15 of 18 faceoffs.

EA advances to play Malvern Prep in a quarterfinal match Wednesday night at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken.
