Bonner & Prendie eliminates O’Hara, advances to Catholic League quarters

Last year, Bonner & Prendergast defeated Cardinal O’Hara for the first time in 14 years. The Pandas topped that feat Monday afternoon in the Catholic League quarterfinals.

Emily Hudash scored three goals as Bonner & Prendie earned a 10-7 win. The Pandas will play longtime Catholic League champions Archbishop Carroll in the semifinals Thursday at Neumann University.

Riley Dolan, Paige Brady and Carly Brosious all tallied twice for Bonner & Prendie, and goalie Brianna Allison made seven saves.

With 10 minutes to play, the Pandas were shorthanded by two players, but able to keep the Lions’ attack at bay.

Meghan Shallow notched a hat trick for the Lions, who end the year 8-9 overall.
