PAC-10 Softball Roundup: OJR tops Methacton; Boyertown moves into tie for third in PAC

Owen J. Roberts 9, Methacton 3 >> A six-run ninth inning was enough to complete a wild comeback for the Wildcats as the team stayed in the playoff hunt with a vital six-run victory over the Warriors.

Darby Stuart led the way with four hits and two doubles while Emily Jackson also had four hits, including a home run and three RBI, as the Wildcats tied the game in the seventh before getting the win in extra innings.

Camryn Glenn had three hits in the win.

Methacton’s Paulina Lowery finished with three hits, including a home run, and two RBI. The Warriors committed five errors in the loss.

Boyertown 11, Spring-Ford 1 >> The Bears blew past the Rams in PAC-10 play thanks in part to Kodi Streeter’s four-RBI night and a solid effort from Mandy Kalil in the circle. 

Streeter finished the game with 1 hit,  a 3-run home run, to go along with two runs scored as the Bears utilized a five-run fifth inning to pull into a tie for third place in the PAC-10.

Kalil pitched six innings, allowing three hits and one earned while striking out three.

Maddie Cotellese, Veronica Maryanski, Kyle Hertzler and Sarah Reinert each finished with a hit in the win.

Wyomissing 17, Pottstown 5 >> Angelina Piette went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, Mikayla Ambarian had a triple, two runs scored and an RBI and Mariah Pease  had three runs and a double for the Spartans (4-11) who topped the Trojans in five innings of their non-league contest.

Kat Kincade went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple for Pottstown (0-18).
