Mercury Area Girls Lacrosse Roundup: Upper Merion tops Pottstown; Upper Perk scores non-league win
Upper Merion 8, Pottstown 6 >> Ebony Reddick’s game-leading goal production wasn’t enough to prevent the Trojans from being headed by the Vikings on their Senior Night.
Reddick had five of Pottstown’s goals, the other coming from Mardaije Pearson. Reilly Owens gave the Trojans 11-save goaltending.
Upper Perkiomen 14, Emmaus 6 >> Morgan Rynn hit the nets for a game-high seven goals, singlehandedly outscoring the entire Emmaus offense in the Indians’ non-league victory.
Rynn was also credited with an assist for UP, which got four goals from Hope Flack (one assist) and two from Michaela Swenk. Kenzie Gebhardt rounded out the locals’ scoring, Alyssa Long was credited with an assist and Regan McComb contributed seven-save goaltending as Upper Perk pulled away in a 9-1 second half.
