Main Line track wrap-up: Episcopal Academy defeated Haverford School
The Episcopal Academy boys’ track team defeated The Haverford School 66-56 Wednesday. Highlights for EA included freshman Jake Viscusi (second place in the 110-meter high hurdles, 300-meter intermediate hurdles, and pole vault – PR of 10- 6); Jermaine Rhoden (second in the 400-meter run, first in long jump, first in high jump – 6-2); Jake Jorgenson (won 1,600-meter run and 800-meter run); and the 4×400 meter relay team of Jorgenson, Rhoden, Matt McDevitt and Jack Bush, which finished first with a time of 3:33.25.
In other Main Line high school track action Wednesday:
The Radnor girls track & field team competed in a tri-meet Wednesday, defeating Conestoga and losing to Ridley. Radnor’s The 3,200 meter relay of Allaire Mameniskus, Addie Cairns, Priya Ganesh, and Amanda Zajac started the meet off with a second place finish. Julia Havertine was second overall in the 3,200 meter run. Ellie Rosin placed third in the 400 meter run with a career best 63.1. Caroline Ditrolio and Aillen Manion were third in the 1,600 meter run and 800 meter run, respectively.
