Main Line lacrosse wrap-up: Agnes Irwin, Haverford School victorious
The Agnes Irwin School lacrosse team used stifling defense to limit Penn Charter to two second half goals, earning a 12-7 Inter-Ac victory Thursday. The Owls (8-4, 4-1) celebrated more than just their fourth straight win; the game marked the season debut of senior Hannah Keating, back from an injury sustained in the fall on the soccer field. Keating wasted no time, scoring a tying and go ahead goal for AIS in the first half erasing an early 3-1 PC lead. Kate White, Laura Pansini, Lila Barker, and Kristin Burnetta also netted two goals each for the Owls, with Burnetta chipping in three assists. White and Emily Fryer combined for nine draw controls and Hailey Andress made had six saves, many down the stretch, to keep the Quakers off the board for the majority of the second half.
The Haverford School lacrosse team defeated Germantown Academy, 15-5, Thursday. Leaders for the Fords included Dox Aitken (two goals, one assist), Keyveat Postell (three goals, one assist), Johnny Nostrant (four goals, one assist), Tommy McNamara (one goal, two assists), Forry Smith (three goals, one assist), Austin Helms (two assists), Brendan O’Neill (one assist), Luke O’Grady (two goals), Tim Carlson (one assist) and goalie Alex DeMarco (10 saves).

The Friars were led by Adam Goldner (seven goals, two assists), Kyle Anderson (three goals, three assists), Quinn McCahon (one goal, two assists), Mike Fay (one goal, two assists), Scott White (two goals), Billy Coyle (one goal, one assist), Addison Mueller (one goal), Jack Traynor (one goal), Sean Christman (one goal, won 13 faceoffs) and Andrew Clark (six saves).

The Churchmen were led by Nate Emrick (one goal, five assists), Connor Ringwalt (three goals, two assists), Will Haab (one goal), Ben Valdes (two goals), Jake Martellucci (one goal, one assist), Gab Furey (two goals), Dan Baker (one goal), Christian Feliziani (won 14 of 20 faceoffs) and Jake Floyd Jones (eight saves).
Harriton lost to Radnor, 10-5, Thursday. Ram leaders included Molly McDonough (two goals), Jordan Heller (one goal), Claudia Conrad (three draw controls), Alex Ladda (one goal, two draw controls), Laura Lasprogata (one goal, two assists), Haley Morris (one draw control, two ground balls) and Devin McClain (eight saves).
Villa Maria Academy edged Mt St. Joseph, 9-8, Wednesday. Leading the way for the Hurricanes were Audrey Fantazzia (three goals, two assists), Bri Bamber (two goals), Lauren Dunn (one goal), Annina Iacobucci (one goal, four assists) and Caroline Antell (one goal). Sarah Moffit, Bridget Forde and Adele Iacobucci led the defense with two caused turnovers each. Goalie Maddie Medve had a stellar game with 12 saves, allowing just one goal in the second half.
