Coach of the Year
Pete Ventresca, Boyertown
Guided Bears through arguably their best season in program history. Team won third straight District 1-AAA West and Southeast AAA Region titles, after third unbeaten PAC-10 regular season championship and reclamation of PAC-10 tournament crown. Bears compiled 22-1 dual-match record, won third straight District 1-AAA Duals title and finished second in the PIAA Class AAA Duals. Bears also finished second as team in the King of the Mountain and Escape the Rock tournaments while placing fifth at Beast of the East competition. Nine Boyertown wrestlers qualified for the PIAA Class AAA tournament, where they had three medalists and finished ninth in the team standings. Ventresca was accorded AAA Coach of the Year honors by District 1 and the PIAA, as well as the Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association.
