Perkiomen School holds off Valley Forge
Perkiomen School 8, Valley Forge MA 7 >> The Panthers were forced into overtime in their first game of the season, but they were able to edge Valley Forge Wednesday.
Perkiomen struck first with a goal :59 seconds in to the game by Ooduah Orafidya. Valley Forge then scored five unanswered goals to put the Panthers behind by four going into the half.
The locals came back in the second half with goals scored by Noah Ruff-Pringle (two), Miles Longstreth (three) and Anthony Cassel to tie the game at the end of regulation. They answered quick in overtime with a game winning goal by Cassel just 1:25 in.
