Last year’s record: 13-0 PAC-10, 19-2 overall. PAC-10 Champions.

Players to watch: Seniors: Maddie Gebert (midfield), Kerry Huzzard (attack/midfield). Juniors: Anna Dempsey (midfield/attack), Sydney Kurtz (defense), Frankie Carroll (attack), Anna Lavelle (attack). Sophomore: Danika Swech (midfield/defense).

Outlook: Coming off an undefeated conference run to the PAC-10 title in Tornetta’s first year at the helm, the Wildcats will look to find similar success this season with the return of Mercury All-Area Player of the Year Gebert (Temple commit) and First Teamer Huzzard (George Mason commit). The Liberty Division should be very competitive this season, which Tornetta hopes will help drive his team toward another strong campaign. “The league seems to be very balanced,” said Tornetta. “With a quick start, anyone could easily end up as a league favorite. We’ve increased the difficulty of our non-league schedule in hopes of helping us to continue to grow as a program. Time will tell.” OJR opens up its regular season against defending state champion Garnet Valley.
