From the pages of the Daily Times, Strath Haven’s unlikely resurgence in the first year under coach Dave McFadden lands them the No. 8 seed and a visit from No. 25 Hatboro-Horsham.

Also hosting games are No. 4 Ridley, crowned Central League champs Monday and forced to tangle with No. 29 North Penn, and Del Val champ Chester, the No. 8 seed that entertains No. 25 Council Rock North.

Seeded in the teens again, No. 18 Academy Park heads to No. 15 Upper Merion. No. 21 Penncrest hits the road against Pac-10 champions and No. 12 seed North Penn, while No. 22 Penn Wood sees a familiar playoff foe in No. 11 Lower Merion.

The last two Central League teams in the field face longshots in the first round. No. 30 Garnet Valley travels to No. 3 Downingtown West for its first playoff game in eight years, and No. 31 Radnor must contend with No. 2 Plymouth Whitemarsh.
