Dozens from lower Bucks committing to collegiate sports

NATIONAL SIGNING DAY

BUCKS Co. – While National Signing Day was Wednesday, Feb. 4, ironically, no schools in the lower Bucks County area hosted any college commitment ceremonies that day.

That doesn’t mean that lower Bucks is bereft of student-athletes ready to take the next step.

No Sir.

Council Rock South has announced the commitment of 10 of its student-athletes and Neshaminy is sending a dozen on to the next level. The Hawks will host a Signing Breakfast on Friday morning at CR South and Neshaminy is holding its ceremony later that day at the HUB.

Pennsbury quarterback Mike Alley will announce his commitment to West Chester on Feb. 10 at the West Campus and linebacker Luke Snyder is headed to Kutztown.

Meanwhile at Council Rock North, three baseball players for the Indians are taking their game to the next level.

Pitcher/shortstop Matt  Hand (Lehigh), catcher Jared Schram (Bloomsburg) and pitcher C.J. Kilgarriff (Philadelphia University) have all announced their intention to play baseball in college.

CR North is also hosting their signing event on Friday.
