Presenting All-Main Line girls’ volleyball teams
The Main Line high school girls’ volleyball scene produced a number of fine squads last fall. Academy of Notre Dame was the PAISAA state champions for the third year in a row, Archbishop Carroll (18-3) reached the championship finals of the Catholic League; and Villa Maria Academy (23-2) captured the AACA regular season and playoff championship, then won the PIAA Class AA District One championship and advanced to the PIAA Class AA state semifinals.
The All-Main Line high school girls’ volleyball teams are selected by the coaches. Because Main Line Media News covers 19 high schools, the Main Line Media News sports staff limits the number of sports available to first team, second team and honorable mention – but follows the priority of the coaches’ selections.
