Villa Joseph Marie track captures pair of medals at Burdette Indoor Classic
BETHLEHEM – The Villa Joseph Marie girls track team captured a pair of medals at the Robert J. Burdette Indoor Classic held Dec. 28 at Lehigh University’s Philip Rauch Fieldhouse in Bethlehem.
The Jems took home a third-place trophy in the 4×800 relay and a fifth-place ribbon in the sprint medley relay.
Placing third in the 4×800 was a group of freshmen including Katie Irelan, Abby Zwall, Camila Drobac and Brianna Kling. The girls crossed the finish line in 10:17.51.
Drobac teamed up with junior Bella Hill, junior Katie Schramm and sophomore Kaela Jolibois in finishing the sprint medley relay in 4:35.98.
