Nawn, Haffner, Rosenberger win two each to pace Penncrest
Liam Nawn was tops in both distance events, Justin Haffner claimed the 200 IM and 100 breast, and Daniel Rosenberger was quickest in the 100 fly and 100 back to lead Penncrest to a 98-88 Central League win over Ridley Tuesday.
Donnie Taziole won the 50 free for Ridley, while Gene Gibbons’ keyed a diving 1-2-3.
Also in the Central League:
Haverford 98, Upper Darby 80 >> Collin Pettit won the 200 IM and 100 fly to ease the Fords to victory.
Mac Lehman (50 free) and Jack McConnell (100 free) paired individual wins with two relay triumphs for UD.
Springfield 96, Marple Newtown 87 >> Christopher Fleming won the 200 IM, Jack Booth claimed the 100 back and Jacob Melchier was fastest in the 100 breast to pace the Cougars.
Dylan Keer won the 200 and 500 free, and Ron Feinberg swept the sprints for Marple.
In nonleague action:
Episcopal Academy 103, Hill School 83 >> Ivan Puskovitch won the 200 IM and 500 free to pace EA.
Girls
Penncrest 96, Ridley 90 >> Claire Walsh bested pool records in the 50 and 100 free to lead the Lions to the Central League win.
Kiera Wadsworth won the 200 IM and 100 fly for Ridley, while Gab Rudy took home to honors in the 500 and 100 breast.
Haverford 97, Upper Darby 76 >> Nina Benedetti (100 fly), Grace Myers (100 free) and Maddie Hart (50 and 500 free) strung together consecutive wins as the Fords rolled.
Springfield 113, Marple Newtown 71 >> Georgia Apostolu won the 200 IM and 100 breast, and Danielle Cessna claimed the 50 and 100 free to pace the Cougars.
In the Inter-Ac:
Notre Dame 92, Penn Charter 88 >> Kaitlin Perni won the 200 IM and 100 free, and Michaela McGeary won the 50 free and 100 back while taking part in the winning 400 free relay that was part of a 1-3 finish to secure the Irish’s win.
In nonleague action:
Episcopal Academy 108, Hill School 78 >> Emma Seiberlich won the 100 fly and 100 back, the former in a Hill pool record 57.79 seconds, and Alex Sumner set a pool mark of 2:08.77 en route to victory in the 200 IM for the Churchwomen.
