Three Main Line schools ranked in top seven in SE Pa. Soccer Coaches poll
Three Main Line schools – Conestoga, Haverford School and Malvern Prep – are ranked among the top seven boys’ soccer teams in the Southeast Pennsylvania Soccer Association poll as of Oct. 18.
The boys’ soccer teams are ranked as follows, in descending order: Central Bucks East (16-0, first place); Father Judge (16-0, second); Conestoga (14-0-1, third); Roman Catholic (13-1-2, fourth); Haverford School (11-2, fifth); West Chester Henderson (12-3, sixth); Malvern Prep (10-0-2, seventh); North Penn (10-4-2, eighth); Abington (11-4, ninth); Owen J. Roberts (14-4, 10th); Council Rock North (10-3, 11th); Central Bucks South (10-5-1, 12th); Downingtown West (10-3-2, 13th); Boyertown (13-3-1, 14th); Marple Newtown (12-4, 15th); Pennsbury (9-4-2, 16th); Springfield–Delco (10-2-2, 17th); Penn Charter (7-2-2, 18th); Plymouth Whitemarsh (10-3-2, 19th); Wissahickon (10-5, tied for 20th); and Central Bucks West (11-5, tied for 20th).
The top 10 ranked girls teams are as follows, in descending order: Central Bucks East (15-0, first place); Pennsbury (14-1, second); Spring-Ford (14-2-2, third); Boyertown (14-4-1, fourth); West Chester Henderson (13-3, fifth); Archbishop Ryan (15-1-1, sixth); Owen J. Roberts (13-5, seventh); Downingtown West (11-3, eighth); West Chester Rustin (13-2, ninth); Neshaminy (10-4-1, 10th).
