Archbishop Ryan’s McNeil runs all over Carroll

Jaye McNeil was too much for Archbishop Carroll.

The Archbishop Ryan running back amassed 156 yards and three touchdowns en route to a 42-6 trouncing of the visiting Patriots Saturday night at Northeast High.

Rahsul Faison scored the only touchdown of the game for Carroll (2-5, 1-2 Catholic League AAA), a two-yard run midway through the second quarter to cut Ryan’s lead to 14-6. The Raiders then rattled off the game’s final four touchdowns.

Christian Smith led all Carroll rushers with 80 yards on 13 carries. Faison added 75 yards on seven totes and quarterback Stephen Honick was 7-of-16 through the air for 87 yards.
