Harriton cross-country teams wrap up successful regular season

The Harriton cross-country teams wrapped up a successful regular season Oct. 7 as the girls team, led by Tasha Greene (third), Michelle Qin (fourth) and Claudia Conrad (fifth) defeated Upper Darby, but fell to Ridley by a point, wrapping up the regular season 7-4. The Rams’ boys team completed an undefeated regular season with wins over Upper Darby and Ridley to claim at least a share of the league title heading into the championship meet. The boys placed eight in the top 10 of the race: Jonah Gillespie-Sickmen (first), Bruce Herriot (second), Sam Ebby (fourth), Shane Smolenski (fifth), Jan Terwiesch (sixth), Connor Todd (seventh), Etan Ginsburg (ninth) and Andrew Grimes (10th).
