Eight Conestoga golfers advances to Districts

Eight Conestoga golfers advanced to the District 1 Championship Oct. 12-13 at Turtle Creek.  Leading the scoring was Ryan Tall, who shot a 75 (seventh overall). Freshman Samantha Yao finished in third for the females with an impressive score of 76.  Junior Caleigh Sturgeon finished fifth for the girls with a score of 91.  Other players who will be going to districts will be James Goodwin, Mike Hamilton, Alex Cook, Jack McPherson (won in a playoff) and Emily Centofante.
