Conestoga girls’ tennis team downs Lower Merion

The Conestoga girls’ tennis team defeated Lower Merion, 6-1, Tuesday. At first singles, LM’s Simone Burde defeated Cassidy Landau, 1-6, 6-2, (10-7) match tiebreak. Conestoga won the remaining matches. At second singles, Maddie Wood defeated Neve Brennan 6-2, 6-2; at third singles, Ashley Griffith defeated Cristina Bermudez 6-0, 6-0; at first doubles, Julia Herman and Nina Herman defeated Allie Rauch and Kloe Rosenberg 6-0, 6-2; at second doubles, Nour Elkassabany and Hannah Ashton defeated Haley Kofsky and Sarah Lipson 6-4, 6-1; at third doubles, Sarah Aboseada and Priya Aracindhan defeated Chloe Spergel and Holly Yu 6-1, 6-1; and at fourth doubles, Annie Burdick and Simmona Coelho defeated Sarah Beller-Grossman and Jenna Mancuso 6-1, 6-1.
