Lower Merion aced by West Chester Henderson

The Lower Merion girls’ tennis team lost to defending district champ West Chester Henderson, 7-0, Monday. At first singles, Emma Clark defeated Simone Burde 6-0, 6-1; at second singles, Amanda Baxter defeated Neve Brennan 6-1, 6-1; and at third singles, Katie Gergel defeated Cristina Bermudez 6-0, 6-0. At first doubles, Elaina Rochford and Mary Soria defeated Allie Rauch and Kloe Rosenberg 6-0, 6-0; at second doubles, Julianne Rodgers and Iswarya Vel defeated Sarah Lipson and Haley Kofsky 6-1, 6-4; at third doubles, Hannah Baxter and Jessica Liu defeated Chloe Spergel and Holly Yu 6-0, 6-4; and at fourth doubles, Emily Kelly and Kendall Turner defeated Sarah Beller-Grossman and Jenna Mancuso 6-0, 6-1.
