Academy Park can’t stem tide of Lower Moreland momentum

Academy Park started strong with wins by Ramsey Montez and Samika Kromah at 106 and 120, respectively, but Lower Moreland eventually brought to bear its substantial depth in a 48-12 non league win Tuesday.

Max Fitzgerald (160) and Zac Cavage (220) also scored decisions for Academy Park (14-13).

In the Central League:

Haverford 33, Conestoga 22: Vince Tavani’s pin at 106 midway through the match helped the Fords overturn a deficit that stretched as large as seven points.

Pete Moore (113) followed with a pin, then decisions by Will Newmiller, Jered Smith and Noah Strehse in quick success salted away the victory for Haverford.
