Boyle assists Episcopal into quarterfinals

Tara Boyle was the provider for Episcopal Academy Wednesday, setting up second-half goals for Jacqueline Dzwonczyk and Molly O’Brien to lead the Churchwomen to a 2-1 win over Mercersburg Academy in the first round of the PAISAA Tournament.

O’Brien’s game-winner came with 11 minutes left, sending the No. 4 seed EA into the quarterfinals next week. They’ll host the winner of No. 12 Baldwin and No. 5 Germantown Friends School at a date and time to be determined.

Notre Dame 4, Baldwin 3: Phoebe McClernon scored twice and added an assist, and Ariah Fisher chipped in a goal for the Irish (6-12-1, 2-10).
