O’Hara’s James a winner at Catholic League race
Kevin James won the individual championship and Cardinal O’Hara claimed the Catholic League boys team cross country title again
Some things never change.
Kevin James won the individual crown for the second straight year to pace the O’Hara boys to their fifth straight Catholic League team title Saturday afternoon at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.
James covered the 3.1-mile course in 16:22, according to O’Hara’s Twitter account. The boys official individual results were not posted online as of deadline Saturday. His brother Ryan was second, followed by Rob Morro placed third. Billy Donovan placed seventh and Drew Pastore 11th to round out O’Hara’s scorers.
Elsewhere on the boys side, Joe Sullivan took sixth and Ryan Rastatter placed 15th for Bonner-Prendergast. Tyler Zqicharonski was 12th and Matt Fohner 21st to lead Archbishop Carroll.
Andrew Marston of Conestoga easily won the Central League individual title to lead the Pioneers to the team championship at Rose Tree Park. Liam Galligan of Springfield was the top Delco finisher. He was third, while teammate Justin Miller was sixth. Conan Beckley-Gray and Greg Kotchick of Strath Haven placed ninth and 10th.
