Levy continues unbeaten roll in win for O’Hara
Gabriella Levy continued remained unbeaten at second singles in the Catholic League to lead the Cardinal O’Hara girls tennis team to a 4-1 triumph over Lansdale Catholic Tuesday. Allison Salmon has just one loss in the league at first singles for the Lions (8-5, 7-0).
In the Del Val League:
Chester 5, Chichester 0: Singles players Lasheeda Jones, Jamie McDowell and Aya Salim helped the Clippers (3-3) reach the .500 mark in the league.
Academy Park 5, Penn Wood 0: Lattana Sithara, Vicky Outland and Breanna Reid swept the singles for the Knights (9-3, 8-0) without losing a game.
In the Central League:
Strath Haven 4, Garnet Valley 3: Caroline Shafer and Madison Snyder, and Angela Huang and Julia Katcher needed three sets to win at second and fourth doubles for the Panthers. Emma Blake and Stella Chen took two of the three singles matches for Garnet Valley.
Marple Newtown 4, Penncrest 3: Shadi Nauri and Ishpal Kaur sealed the win with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) triumph at fourth doubles. The Tigers swept the singles while Penncrest took three of the four doubles match.
Conestoga 7, Upper Darby 0: The Pioneers won six of the seven matches without losing a game.
Radnor 5, Lower Merion 2: Sasha Smolyansky and Grace Moore sealed the victory and helped the Raiders (9-2) finished thrid in the league with a win at third doubles.
In the Inter-Ac League:
Notre Dame 4, Baldwin 3: Grace Leasure, Meredith Hughes and Anne Marie Crinnion swept the singles as Notre Dame (8-0, 2-0) beat Baldwin for the first time in program history.
