Palazzese doubles up for Episcopal

Episcopal Academy coach Gina Buggy called it “a good team effort for another nice road win,’ as the Churchwomen defeated Hill School, 3-0. Christy Palazzese scored twice and Colby Gallagher had the other goal for Episcopal. Goalkeeper Rachael Farmer made two saves in net.

In Central League action:

Radnor 3, Harriton 1: Katie Quinn, Kaelee Helms and Lydia Sydnor grouped goals for the Red Raiders, supporting goalie Kylee Rutty (seven saves). Harriton goalie Laura Lasprogata had 10 saves, while the Rams’ Sophie Grady scored their lone goal.

Upper Darby 1, Springfield 0: Kerianne McGee had the lone goal of the game, off an assist by Bridget Johnson, to lead the Royals. Tina Lugowski had 10 saves for Upper Darby, which was matched by Ally Scanlon of Springfield.

In a Catholic League game:

Archbishop Carroll 2, Bonner-Prendergast 1: Kira McNulty and Grace Midgley scored for the Patriots and goalie Kerri Mountz made seven saves. For the Pandas, Sierra Stretch scored the lone goal and Maggie Baldini had 14 saves.

Mary Anne Young assisted on Stretch’s goal and teamed with Riley Dolan, Olivia Keenan and Maura Spellman on a strong defensive effort for Bonner-Prendie, which fell to 3-1 in the league and 6-2 overall.
