Napoleon powers O’Hara in a sweep

Gabby Napoleon collected 16 kills, two blocks and two aces as Cardinal O’Hara blanked Little Flower, 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-22), in Catholic League volleyball actoin Tuesday.

Meghan McWilliams added 27 digs and Natalie Gray had 11 digs for the Lions (7-2).

Elsewhere in the Catholic League:

Lansdale Catholic 3, Bonner-Prendergast 0: Amber Ballinger (three aces, four kills), Jackie McCarrick (17 digs), Megan Cummings (12 assists), Veronica Kirchner (four kills, eight blocks) and Catherine Bullessimo (11 digs) all played well for the Pandas.

In the Del Val League:

Chester 3, Penn Wood 0: Keyajah Hunter recorded six service aces to pace the Clippers past the Patriots (25-18, 25-12, 25-23). Yamilette Garcia chipped in with five kills and Shamiyah Cottman added six kills and four blocks for the Clippers.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Notre Dame 3, Springside Chestnut Hill 0: Ali Rae dealt 11 assists to lead the Irish (4-1, 1-0) over the Blue Devils (25-10, 25-10, 25-22) in the league opener for both teams. Kristen Rogers and Allison (four aces) chipped in with 10 kills each.
