Murdock makes the difference for Chichester

John Murdock’s eighth-place finish at Rose Tree Park gave Chichester a 26-29 victory over Academy Park in the Del Val League cross country opener for both teams Tuesday. Malik and Nazir Clark-Crooms of Academy Park finished 1-2. Manny Mithcell placed third for Chi.

Elsewhere in the Del Val League:

Glen Mills 15, Chester 50: The Bulls had seven of the top 10 finishers, led by Miguel Uribe in second place. Ryan Rucker of Chester was the overall winner.
