Napoleon leads O’Hara in sweep
Gabby Napoleon had 35 kills on a busy tri-match day as the Cardinal O’Hara volleyball team posted a tough 3-2 victory over Lower Merion, and also defeated Sacred Heart, 3-0, Saturday.
The Lions defeated the Aces in a marathon match that saw them win the first game, 25-23. Lower Merion took the next two at 25-18 and 25-21, but O’Hara turned the tables with a resounding 25-9 win to get it into the final game. Tied at 9-apiece, the Lions took three straight points en route to a 15-11 clinching victory.
Napoleon added five blocks, while Natalie Gray had 39 digs and 5 aces on the day, Meghan MacWilliams had 63 assists and 9 digs and Kiki Daly posted 5 kills and 12 digs.
