MacWilliams on fire in Cardinal O’Hara’s win
Meghan MacWilliams had the hot hand in Cardinal O’Hara’s season-opening, 3-0 victory over Central Bucks South Wednesday night.
MacWilliams registered 21 assists as the Lions were triumphant by scores of 25-22, 25-21 and 25-19. Natalie Gray added 15 digs and three aces, Charlee Borcky chipped in with six kills and five aces, and Kiki Daly finished with 10 kills and three digs.

Bonner-Prendergast 3, St. Hubert 0: The Pandas cruised 25-12, 25-16, 25-12 thanks in large part to the play of Amber Ballinger (12 kills, four aces), Jackie McCarrick (17 digs, four aces), Veronica Kirchner (seven kills, three aces), Megan Cummings (22 assists) and Mary Kate Moeller (five kills).
In nonleague play:
Unionville 3, Marple Newtown 0: Left-side hitter Liz Conca and middle blocker Sarah Roberts each had strong individual matches for the Tigers, who lost 25-19, 25-8, 25-23.
