Ridley fades late in loss to Conestoga

Ridley lost the final three matches of the night on the way to suffering a 33-26 defeat at the hands of Conestoga.

Donte McCarthy’s major decision at 120 pounds gave the Green Raiders the lead, but the Pioneers battled back, reeling off three straight wins by decisions. Michael Sklar (138) earned an 8-4 victory over Mike Houlihan at 138 pounds to end the match.

Matt Venit (160) and Nate Brennan (182) recorded decisions for Ridley, and Lawrence Alkins came away with a major in the 195-pound bout.
