ROUNDUP: Bonner-Prendie’s bats break through to beat O’Hara

Kellie Martin’s clutch hit lifted Bonner-Prendergast over Cardinal O’Hara, 4-1, in Catholic League action.

Martin broke a 1-1 score with a two-run double in the top of the seventh inning.

Lauren Bergaman went 1-for-2 with a pair of runs scored for the Pandas (2-2). Winning pitcher Sam Lachette pitched a complete game with four strikeouts.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Episcopal Academy 10, Penn Charter 3 >> Emma Tansky was electric from the circle with 11 strikeouts and finished 4-for-5 with a double and three RBIs for the Churchwomen.

Hailee Moran added four hits, including a double, and three RBIs.

In the Del Val League:

Interboro 13, Penn Wood 0 >> Logan Stewart, Maddie Bonner and Jules LaFontano all homered for the Bucs (4-0), who racked up 17 hits.

Billie Kerwood threw a one-hit shutout over five innings with 10 strikeouts. She’s given up two hits in four games this season.

Julia DiSands (three RBIs) laced a double and triple. Maura Smith and Kyla Valver chipped in with three hits apiece.

Katelyn Tong had a triple and struck out seven for the Patriots.

Chichester 11, Academy Park 4 >> Ava Franz’s two-homer, five-RBI game powered the Eagles over the Knights. Makenna Glover also blasted a roundtripper and Nicolette Contino had two singles, a triple and three RBIs. Maria Taylor was the winning pitcher.

In nonleague action:

Archbishop Carroll 11, Villa Maria 1 >> Senior catcher Chris Jackson led the way offensively for the Patriots (8-1) with four hits and three RBIs. Gianna Liciardello tossed a three-hitter and helped herself at the plate with two hits and three RBIs. Molly Devenney added two hits.
