Freshman midfielder/forward Natalie Sgro set the Baldwin varsity soccer program single game scoring record with 5 goals to lead the Bears to a 6-3 victory at SCHA on their Homecoming Day.
Sgro scored all four goals for the Bears in the first half. Score was 4-1 at halftime.
Senior midfielder/forward and co-captain Ellie Greenberg tallied one goal and Sgro had her fifth goal in the second half.
Freshman Gia Vicari set the Baldwin program single game assist record with 4 assists. Senior Natalia Tackett and sophomore Marissa McGarrey each had one assist.
Freshman Juliet Paiva made 9 saves in goal.
Baldwin head coach Adrian Cox said, “It was a great team victory.”
Baldwin overall record 7-4-1 and Inter-Ac League 1-2-1.
