When Garnet Valley needed it most, its standout freshman answered the call when she danced around Conestoga’s keeper for an easy tap-in to give the Jaguars a win in double overtime. Eva Wenger got it started when she won a midfield header and gave it to Gia Dragoni, who then fed it to Burnell.

Burnell also assisted Britney Dragoni’s two goals in regulation for Garnet Valley (8-6-4), while Ashley Bufano stopped five shots in net.
