Spring-Ford 7, Central Bucks East 3
Highlights: The Rams won their home opener with Dylan Broderick on the mound, allowing just one hit over four innings. At the plate, Broderick homered and doubled as well. David Ruckman had a pair of doubles and two RBIs.
Methacton 11, Lansdale Catholic 0 (six innings)
Highlights: Methacton improved to 2-0 in a six-inning rout of Lansdale Catholic. Kross Howarth earned the victory on the mound with eight strikeouts and one walk in four innings for the Warriors. Ben Clark hit a three-run homer and Kasey Humes added a hit and two RBIs for Methacton. Anthony Daddazio and Jake Chapman stole two bases apiece.
Tulpehocken 5, Pottsgrove 4
Highlights: Zach Tyson went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for the Falcons in a loss to Tulpehocken. Koda Browne went 2-for-2 with a run and Bubba Pysher had an RBI. Dustin Penot had a run and RBI for Pottsgrove as well. Hank Gehmin and Weston Campbell both went 2-for-4 for Tulpehocken, the latter plating two runs. Carson Snyder, Jason Light and Romero Herbst each had a run in the win for the Trojans.
Lower Dauphin 6, Daniel Boone 3
Highlights: Casey Westerberg went 3-for-3 and Luke Warner had two hits and knocked in two runs and scored two as host Lower Dauphin defeated the Blazers in a non-league game Wednesday afternoon. Mason Walter went 3-for-3, including a double, and Anthony Cizmarik drove in two runs for Boone.
Upper Perkiomen 13, Brandywine Heights 3 (5 innings)
Highlights: Drew Graf, Devlin Kranich, Evan Sands, Tyler Forrest and Kyle Mazzie all had two hits for Upper Perkiomen Wednesday afternoon in a non-league win over the visiting Bullets in a game stopped after five innings by the 10-run rule. Graf scored three runs and had a double and two RBI and Sands drove in two for the Indians (1-1), who had 13 hits. Caron Wenner had two of the three hits for Brandywine Heights (1-1).
Wilson 7, Boyertown 5
Highlights: Wilson broke a tie with two runs in the top of the seventh Wednesday afternoon for a non-league win at Bear Stadium. The Bulldogs (1-0) scored five in the fifth and the Bears (1-1) tied it with five in the sixth. Wilson starter Matt Vanostenbridge threw five one-hit shutout innings with eight strikeouts. Randy Wynings had two of the seven hits for the Bears.
Perkiomen Valley 2, Souderton 0
Highlights: Michael Poruban went 3-for-4 with a run for Perkiomen Valley in a shutout of Souderton. Justin Stasyk earned the win for the Vikings with four strikeouts, four hits allowed and one walk in four innings of work. Anthony Miceli had the other run while both Conner Fitzpatrick and JT Brady had RBIs.

Highlights: Avery Bickell buried six goals with one assist to fuel Lower Merion past Upper Merion. Mia Falco (one assist), Finley Hoffman (one assist) and Rachel Riggio all scored two goals each. Lia Cini had one assist for Lower Merion, which led 7-5 at halftime.
Julianna Callison led the Vikings with four goals and one assist. Ashley Evitts had a hat trick while Olivia Smith added a pair of goals. Sam Walmsley had two assists and an interception and Anaya Onwubuariri registered six saves for Upper Merion.
SOFTBALL
Pottsgrove 7, Wyomissing 3
Highlights: Mikayla Eckman threw a three-hitter with 15 strikeouts in a non-league win Wednesday afternoon at Wyomissing. Eckman also doubled and tripled and knocked in three runs and Avery Gleason went 3-for-4 with a homer, three runs scored and two RBI for the Falcons (2-0).
Spring-Ford 14, Exeter 2 (6 innings)
Highlights: Jess Fliszar allowed only three hits and struck out eight and also homered and knocked in four runs for the Rams in a non-league win Wednesday afternoon at Exeter. Riley Gancasz went 4-for-5 with a homer, Ellie Jarrell had a homer among her three hits and Morgan Lester also had three hits for Spring-Ford. The Rams broke the game open with nine runs in the sixth.
