Girls Lacrosse
Mount St. Joseph 15, Central Bucks South 7 >> The Mount (6-1) took an 8-1 lead after one half and coasted to the finish line on Tuesday. Lauren Maher paced the offense with five goals, while Kate Donovan and Amelia Clair added two goals for The Magic. Ava Rossi also came through with three goals, while also scoring were Devin Loome and Kiersten Pumilia. Annie Shields added 15 saves for Mount St. Joe’s.

Lansdale Catholic 20, Little Flower 6 >> Sam Beyerle scored five goals, while Emily Simpson added four goals and three assists for the Crusaders on Tuesday in PCL action. Ava Mercier and Keira Trainer each added three goals, while Holly Wunder scored twice. Caroline Kerr came through with 12 saves for LC.

Pottsgrove 16, Pope John Paul II 11 >> PJP II’s Alexia Swarte scored six goals, but it was not enough in Tuesday’s PAC Frontier defeat to Pottsgrove.

Upper Merion 14, Upper Perk 8 >> Ashley Evitts scored four goals, while Olivia Smith added three more as the Vikings (3-4) picked up the PAC victory on Tuesday. Olivia Smith tallied three goals, while Sam Walmsley and Julianna Callison each added two more for Upper Merion. Also scoring for the Vikings were Ella Menke and Audrey Schuebel. Avery Fox made six saves in net for Upper Merion.

Archbishop Carroll 20, Villa Maria 2 >> The Patriots burst to an 11-1 first-half lead today and added nine more goals in the second half on Tuesday. Kiley Mottice scored five goals, while Machaela Henry and Ava Bleckley added hat trick for Carroll (9-0). Shannon Wood added three assists, while goalie Bridget Robinson had seven saves.

Boys Lacrosse
Boyertown 12, Upper Merion 8 >> The Vikings were outscored 4-1 in the final quarter and dropped a PAC heartbreaker on Tuesday. Justin Besz led the way for Upper Merion with three goals and one assist, while Owynne Seals and Colin McCormick each added two goals. Andrew Haney also scored a goal and Rocco Lindelow made nine saves in net for Upper Merion.

Boys Volleyball
Souderton 3, Central Bucks West 1 >> The Indians (3-5) picked up the win on Tuesday by scores of 25-21, 25-15, 21-25 and 25-17. Nate Brown led the way for Souderton with 25 kills and five aces. Also standing out for the Indians were Andrew Brown (12 kills), JC Peacock (five kills) and Tobie Lias (three kills).

Pennridge 3, Central Bucks East 0 >> The Rams (6-1) picked up the win on Tuesday by scores of 25-23, 25-13 and 25-16. Riley Kodidek led the way for Pennridge with five kills, seven digs and 22 assists. Also standing out for the Rams were Tyler Johnson (8 kills, 4 blocks), Nick Smith (8 kills, 2 blocks), Thomas McKinney (8 Kills, 6 digs), Jude Rotondo (6 kills, 2 aces) and Alex Derk (10 digs, 2 aces).

Boys Tennis
Plymouth Whitemarsh 6, Quakertown 1 >> The Colonials dominated the doubles, not dropping a set en route to the SOL Liberty win on Tuesday. The No. 1 doubles team of Jeremy Segal and Dan Small were tonesetters with a double-bagel win of 6-0, 6-0.

Baseball
Jenkintown 15, Collegium Charter 0 >> Ben Spector struck out seven and walked just three as the Drakes won big on Tuesday. Will Gouveia paced the offense with a pair of doubles for Jenkintown.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 10, Cheltenham 3 >> Plymouth Whitemarsh erased an early 2-0 deficit with six runs in the bottom of the first then added three more in the third as the Colonials claimed an SOL crossover victory.

Luke Caucci was 2-for-4 with a double, home run, three RBIs and a run scored while Lincoln Sharpe finished 3-for-3 with three RBIs and scored twice for PW (5-3, 2-3 SOL Liberty), which won its second straight. Joe Redmond went 2-for-3 with a triple, RBI and three runs scored.

Cheltenham (2-4, 0-3 SOL Freedom) plated two runs in the top of the first on a John Ivory RBI single and Ivory later scoring on an error.

A Sharpe two-RBI double in the bottom of the inning made it 2-2 with Caucci giving the Colonials the lead with his two-run homer on the next at-bat. A Gavin Rocks RBI fielder’s choice and a run scored on an error made it 6-2 PW.

The Colonials went up 9-2 in the third thanks to a Redmond RBI triple, Sharpe’s RBI single and a Caucci RBI double.

Archbishop Wood 11, Holy Ghost Prep 1 (5 innings) >> Aiden Myers hit a walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth as Archbishop Wood got its offense going in the third and rolled to a nonleague victory.

Myers went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored while Sean Slowinski, Daniel Tiburcio and Richie Bonino all had two RBIs for the Vikings (7-1, 4-0 PCL).

Holy Ghost Prep scored a run in the top of the first before Wood broke through with a five-run third. A Joey Gale RBI double and Patrick McKinney RBI single put the Vikings up 2-1. Slowinski hit a two-RBI triple then scored on an error to make it 5-2.

With two outs and the bases loaded in the fourth, Tiburcio gave Wood a 7-2 lead with a two-RBI double. Bonino followed with a two-RBI single on the next at-bat.
