McNeely’s seven goals lead Strath Haven past Haverford

Danielle McNeely scored seven goals as Strath Haven outlasted Haverford, 14-10, in a Central League showdown Thursday.

Devon Maillet added five goals for the Panthers.

Emma Rowland scored five goals, and Jackie Heinerichs added three goals and a helper for the Fords.

In other Central League girls lacrosse action:

Ridley 14, Marple Newtown 7 >> Abby Axe scored four times, and Hailey Shanahan added a hat trick as the Green Raiders doubled up the Tigers. Grace DeCarlois made eight saves for Ridley.

Olivia Ebersole led Marple with four goals. Kylie Gioia scored three goals, including the 100th of her career.

Springfield 9, Lower Merion 7 >> Gabby Rizzio scored two goals and two assists, and Mia Valerio (two goals, assist), Erin DeStefano (goal, two assists) and Claire Lynch (goal, two assists) each had a hand in three goals for the Cougars. Rachel Conran made eight saves in goal.

In the Catholic League:

Archbishop Carroll 18, Archbishop Ryan 1 >> Kiley Mottice dished seven assists and was one of the 18 Patriots to score a goal. Shannon Wood and Karli Dougherty added a goal and two assists each.

Bonner-Prendergast 17, Hallahan 1 >> Emma Beaty led the rout with four goals and two assists. Ainsley George and Leila George each tallied hat tricks.

Cardinal O’Hara 15, Archbishop Wood 2 >> Ellie Miller (three assists), Lexi Culp (assist) and Mia Scarduzio scored four goals each to lead the Lions.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Agnes Irwin 10, Notre Dame 7 >> Dani Falcone led the Irish with three goals. Quinn Sullivan made 13 saves, and Katie Onderdonk paired two goals with seven draw controls.
