Reporter/Times Herald Lacrosse Roundup: Souderton, Wissahickon, Upper Moreland girls stay undefeated

GIRLS LACROSSE

Souderton 17, Bensalem 6 >> Reiley Knize had three goals and three assists while Ang Borisow scored three times and collected an assist as Souderton stayed perfect by cruising to an SOL National Conference win Wednesday.

Avery Farina finished with a goal and two assists, Caroline Kelly and Isabel John had two goals each and Peyton Clemmer dished out a pair of assists for the Indians (5-0, 3-0).

Lauren Hallman, Clark Trowbridge and Yasmin Khatri both chipped in a goal and an assist with Ava Shaw, Sydney Rohrbach and Grace Demarzio each scoring a goal.

Upper Moreland 17, Cheltenham  4 >> Isabel Leiter registered three goals and an assist, Regan Cummins had two goals and two assists and Upper Moreland rolled to an SOL American Conference win to remain undefeated.

Maddy Trzaska, Willow Taylor and Bre Knox all scored twice for the Golden Bears (4-0, 2-0) while Olivia Meakim finished with a goal and three assists. Taylor had five draw controls and Heidi Wittick added a goal, an assist and four draw controls.

Jenna Piatieri posted a goal and an assist for UM with Charlotte James, Sophia Hopf and Maggie Morrow each scoring a goal

Wissahickon 13, Lower Moreland 1 >> Abby DeGroat and Emma Baker both finished with three goals and an assist as Wissahickon picked up an SOL American victory.

Quinn Gaffey had two goals and an assist and Chloe Lee chipped in two goals for the Trojans (5-0, 1-0 conference). DeGroat and Baker each had six drawl controls while Baker collected two ground balls.

Maggie McGarry scored for Lower Moreland (1-3, 0-2).

Wissahickon’s Sophia Chiodo Ortiz registered a goal, two assists and a pair of interceptions. Lexi Hobson posted a goal, an assist, three ground balls, a draw control and a caused turnover. Alena Doll had a goal and a caused turnover.

Trojans goalkeeper Madeline Murphy made four saves and also had a ground ball while Haley Reed had a ground ball and a caused turnover.

BOYS LACROSSE

North Penn 13, Plymouth Whitemarsh 1 >> Dakari Luby had three goals and an assist as North Penn shut out Plymouth Whitemarsh in the first half and earned an SOL nonconference victory.

Lars Homan finished with two goals and two assists while Ryan McCann and Ethan Spann both scored twice for the Knights (5-2, 2-1 SOL National), who led 7-0 at halftime.

Jake Dolan dished out two assists and also tallied a goal. Caleb Moister, Jake Henrysen and Connor Toussiant each scored a goal while Luke Patterson collected an assist. NP goalie Matt Kuhn had eight saves.

Plymouth Whitemarsh (3-2, 3-0 SOL American) had its three-game win streak snapped.
