Reporter/Times Herald Lacrosse Roundup: Kenah, Hallman lead Souderton girls past CB East

GIRLS LACROSSE

Souderton 16, Central Bucks East 8 >> Lauren Kenah finished with four goals and three assists, Lauren Hallman had five goals and an assist as visiting Soudeton topped Central Bucks East in the SOL National Conference opener for both teams Wednesday.

Reiley Knize and Clark Trowbridge both scored twice for the Indians (3-0, 1-0 conference), who found the back of the net 10 times after leading 6-2 at halftime.

Sydney Rorbach, Isabel John and Ang Borisow each added a goal for Souderton with Avery Farina and Lexi Krebs recording an assist. Goalkeeper Tegan Farina made five saves.

Upper Moreland 8, Lower Moreland 4 >> Upper Moreland goalie Emma Hurley made 12 saves as the Golden Bears shut out Lower Moreland in the second half after the teams were tied 4-4 at halftime.

Isabel Leiter tallied five goals for UM (3-0, 1-0 SOL American). The Bears’ Olivia Meakim scored twice while Regan Cummins added a goal. Willow Taylor posted an assist and three draw controls.

Upper Dublin 16, New Hope-Solebury 8 >> Upper Dublin got strong performances from Aditi Foster and Jenn McCarry as the Cardinals took a 10-3 lead into halftime and went on to earn their first win of the season.

Foster recorded seven goals and two assists with McCarry collecting six goals and three assists. Tess Reardon had two goals and an assist while Ella Lyon also scored a goal for UD (1-3, 1-0 SOL American). Cards goalie Reilly Brady recorded eight saves.

Kate Dougherty and Rachel Saxton both had two goals for New Hope-Solebury (1-2, 0-1 SOL American).

BOYS LACROSSE

Lansdale Catholic 8, Council Rock South 5 >> Lansdale Catholic built a 5-0 halftime lead then held off visiting Council Rock South to claim a nonleague win.

Connor Mann had two goals and an assist for the Crusaders with Mikey Kleinert and Pat Cooney each scoring twice.

LC’s Pat McKeever and Colin Corbett both finished with a goal and two assists while goalkeeper Connor Flanegan made nine saves.

Wissahickon 11, Central Bucks East 1 >> Matt Fritz won 12-of-16 faceoffs, collected nine ground balls and also scored a goal as Wissahickon rolled past Central Bucks East for an SOL nonleague win.

Jackson Intrieri had two goals and two assists while Dean Wolfe finished with three goals for the Trojans (2-1). Kyle Lehman and Brody Meyers both scored twice with Lehman also handing out an assist.
